Camco aims to provide a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with the duty of care provisions outlined in the Occupational Safety and Health Act (1984) and Occupational Safety and Health Regulations (1996). Camco Engineering believes its workforce is its most valuable asset and is committed to ensuring that staff and management adhere to practices conducive of high standards of health and safety. Camco Engineering recognises the need for continual improvement and regularly undertakes review of these policies.

Camco Staff and Management demonstrate their commitment to health and safety by:

  • Maintaining an occupational health & safety management system addressing the requirements of AS 4801-2000 Occupational Health & Safety Management system.
  • Providing the resources to meet occupational safety and health objectives.
  • Consulting and communicating health and safety initiatives.
  • Setting measurable objectives and targets to ensure continuous improvement.

Through a process of continuous assessment and improvement, Camco Engineering applies resource efficiency policies in its business operations to reuse or recycle waste whenever possible.

Objectives:

  • Implementation of specific work practices that address identified issues

ISO/IEC 17025

Camco Engineering operates a hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing facility. The pressure testing laboratory is based in our Canning Vale workshop and complies with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and is accredited by NATA to undertake mechanical testing of the following:

  • Hydrostatic pressure testing
  • Pneumatic pressure testing
  • Leak testing
  • Pressure testing up to 40 MPa
  • Testing of Valves, Piping Spools, Fittings, and similar fabricated pressure equipment can be performed in accordance with AS1210; AS4037; AS4041; ASMEV; ASME B31.3, and special client requirements
