Gear Manufacturers

Candidates must be able to meet the following criteria;

• Have experience in a medium to heavy engineering environment.
• Be a qualified tradesperson with a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience.
• Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Be able to follow work instructions and procedures, with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Have experience in dealing with Quality Assurance systems.
• Be able to demonstrate safe work practices at all times.

To be successful in this position you will have proven experience and knowledge as;

• Gear cutter operator with experience using;
  • Gear Hobbers
  • Gear Planners/Shapers
  • Gear Generators
  • Spiral Bevel Cutting
  • Gear Grinding

 Or 1st Class Machinist with gear manufacturing knowledge.

In addition to the above;

• Have an understanding of gearing principles, calculations and gear manufacturing.
• Be able to setup and operate Nile Gear Grinder and MAAG Gear Grinders.
